Keep it simple. Make this sandwich.
Two slices of bread, two slices of fat free cheese, a bit of light mayo, 7 dill pickle slices, thinly sliced sweet onion. Wash down with some tomato juice tonic. My tonic is tomato juice, plus nutritional yeast, plus dried kelp granules, and a dash of celery salt.
If you wonder 'why is she putting this on a blog?" it's so I can remember. I tend to forget things I think I'll remember.
This has some of the tastes of the McDonald's black angus snack wrap, the deluxe version--there is a Swiss Mushroom and Bacon Cheese as well.
The snack wrap was large--much larger than the grilled chicken wrap. And it was delicious. I forgot to check out the nutritional info before we left the house. I was sure it was 600 calories--what with the real mayo, and cheese and the big angus burger patty.
When I got home I looked it up on McD's website--400 calories. And worth every calorie. IMO it's one of the best sandwiches McD's has ever served up. A nice 'eat once in awhile' food.
